Sorry, I am not the best blogger around. I will try to be better. We’re continuing to train, although I have been slowed because of a (left) knee replacement. I am eight weeks out from surgery. Doing well, probably better than most but still obviously not 100 percent. Surgeon says it’ll take 8 months of so to be at around 80 percent – and a year before I am back to 100 percent. BUT I expecto do better than that timeline. Anyway, that’s my story – and I’m sticking to it.
We are contemplating changing our hours from 5:30-6:30 & 7-8, moving the first class to 6 to allow those who struggle to get to the dojo some more time and don’t feel so rushed. If you have any thoughts, feel free to respond. Also, we are hoping to begin a senior class for those who either always wanted to train karate but were too busy with life in their younger years – or those who have stepped away after training and want to get back.
It is NEVER too late to train. Trust me. We can work with you, no matter your issues. All of our instructors are in their 50s or older and have had various physical issues. We all have to adjust how we train as we get older. Drop us a line or call us (910-382-1943) if you have any questions.
Take care.
