Sorry, I’ve been away too long. Computer crashed and I was slow to get new one – and, well, been a bit lazy. I like training and not as diligent as I should be on our posts for the school.
But a couple updates: We now have over a dozen students – and two just got promoted: Dylan Padgett to blue belt and David Day to yellow belt. Congratulations. And two of our nidans are working hard in preparation for their sandan (third-degree black belt exams), which may be the toughest of all exams in Shuri ryu because it means you are considered a full instructor in the system.
I have added a photo from our promotion as well as a link to the first of the quarterly newsletters that will be produced by the senior staff and others associated with the Shuri-Te Bu-Jutsu Kai. The fall edition is 28 pages. Give it a read.
